From May 13th to 17th the Windsurfing Euro-Cup heads to the North Sea to visit the Summer Opening on Germanys famous island Sylt. The Summer Opening is one of the biggest Windsurfing Events in Germany with about 80.000 spectators over 6 days. The event offers both disciplines, Formula Windsurfing and Slalom. With a total of € 10.000, prize money it is interesting for several racers to come to this event.
At the Windsurfing Euro-Cup Bol at Zoo-Station (Croatia) the competitors can enjoy the warm Adriatic Mediterranean Sea from June 16th to 21st. 15 to 20 knots of sideshore wind are the regular conditions in June. Therefore it makes sense to concentrate on this discipline. € 10.000,00 prize money will make the trip a worthy experience.
The Highlight of the Windsurfing Euro-Cup Tour 2015 is the IFCA Slalom World Championship at the Volvo Surf Cup on Sylt from July 21st to 26th. This event is not only offering a prize money budget of € 15.000,00 but also the prestigous official IFCA Slalom World Championship title. This will call the elite of slalom racers to Sylt. They will be welcomed by a giant event. Every year the Volvo Surf Cup calls up to 120.000 spectators to Sylt.
