EFPT Toro Andaluz: Norman Günzlein takes the victory.
Finally the double elimination didn’t change the top four in the Toro Andaluz event.
After the last heats of the double elimination were run, they started a new single, but suddenly the wind completely dropped and they could not carry on with the competition.
This means that Norman takes the lead of the European Tour, followed by Mevissen, Antxón and the man of the event, Steven van Broeckhoven.
Norman has set the level and is the men to beat in the next event in Podersdof (a mixed event with the PWA).
Mevissen had a pretty impressive performance, knowing he has hardly sail any freestyle lately.
Anxtón Otaegui was also looking on form and ready to step up in the ranking.
But the main man of the event there is no doubt it was Steve Broeckhoven. This young rider kicked out some big names on the way to his fourth place, like Remko deWeerd and Michael Rossmeier (who had a great performance also in the single elimination and finishing 5th in the end).
