We all know how hard it is to start windsurfing. Not only it is a “little bit complicated” but also it cost a bit of money. Well, know, if you are not sure you will like it or not, Trent Windsurfing Club has a good project for you to try.
They just got into their Clud a pair of brand new F2 Discoveries, that you can rent out for your personal use for the time you need them to progress into the next level, and once you are there, you just bring the board back and step into the next gear level.
Clive Brown, Club Chairman, said: “We have been getting quite a few inquiries via the website from people who want to give windsurfing a try, or who have tried it on holiday, but they are worried about shelling out money on a new board. These Discoveries will get them out on a safe learner board for a few months until they are ready to move up to the next level. We hope it will attract more members and give windsurfing a welcome boost in this part of the world.”
It is clever and simple and quite convenient for quick sessions after work. And the Clib also offer a lot more, they run social nights and an annual end of the season trip to Club Vass!
The F2 Discoveries boards were provided by Dave Nobles, the club´s local windsurfing shop (www.nobleboards.co.uk)
