Well the wind continued to blow enough for the race director to (almost) get down to the final 8 sailors. With conditions bordering on suitable all day, the decision was made to count just 3 moves on each tack in a long 10 minute heat. All but the last heat of round 3 was completed, leaving Brawzinho, Cheo Diaz, Paskowski and Akgaziyan, to fight for the last remaining places first thing tomorrow.
On the whole the usual suspects went through. In the first quarter final heat we have team Bonnaire, along with the 2006 World Champion Gollito. Kiri goes against Tonky, whilst Taty fights with Gollito. In the second quarter final, Anxton goes head to head with Campello, along with the 2 winners from the last heat in round 3.
With just an hour left to finish the contest, the wind will surely provide enough puff to see a worthy champion crowned.
Stay Tuned for the final Day tomorrow.
