ISWC European Speed Championships

Well Bjorn is clearly on a roll. After his return to form in Turkey, the Champ then won a nail biting finish with Antoine at the ISWC European Speed Championships.

Both sailors were equal on points going into the last day with Antoine leading on a tie break. However the final day saw wind and the 2 headed out for battle once again. Things were pretty equal until Bjorn hammered out 3 plus 40 knots runs to take the round and with it the overall lead.

In the womens it was a much simpler affair with Valerie dominating with firsts in every round.

So is this a new beginning for Bjorn? Will we see the grand master return to the top to once again, to dominate in old fashion terminator style? Lets see what happens in Sylt.

Overall results
1. Bjorn Dunkerbeck (SUI, Topspeed: 42.92 knots)
2. Antoine Albeau (FRA, 43.68)
3. Cyril Moussilmani (FRA, 42.30
4. Finian Maynard (IRL, 41.88)
5. Ben van der Steen (NED, 40.76)
