Last week, Klitmoller in the north of Denmark, welcomed pro sailors and amateurs into the 4th edition of the event.
The first days of the event the conditions were perfect to run the waves competition. Expectations were high to see the Fanatic team mates Victor Fernandez, Klaas Voget and also Robert Sand in action. And expectations were fulfilled when the final was the Fanatic riders against each other: Fernandez against Voget. Both sailors are pretty solid in port-tack condition, so the final saw the best performance the sailors could offer that day. Victor put together a more solid heat and took the victory, with Klaas settled in second. Robert Sand secured with position on the podium finishing third leaving Matze Bade in fourth.
They could also run a super session, where Klaas Voget showed everyone why he is known as one of the best German wavesailor, taking the victory.
After these great windsurfing competitions, the conditions dropped and was time to get the surfboards and the SUPs out.
With all this action on the water and BBQs and the classic short film festival, the Soulfiles event was one more year a successful and fun event.
