Boardseeker columnist Connor Bainbridge has won the RSX 8.5m division at the second National Ranking event held last weekend at Weymouth & Portland Sailing Academy.
Obviously, the Olympic class uses a 9.5m sail but the youth fleet on their 8.5m sails are super competitive so maybe set for Gold in 2016?
Connor has been receiving coaching off Bryony Shaw\’s coach; Dom Tidey as well as the continuous development from Jem Hall who keeps up his freestyle & wave skills inbetween racing.
Next event for Connor will be the last wave comp of the year – the West Wittering Wave Final.
