Gabriel Browne

As a warm up for the Formula Worlds, Fortleza hosted the Brazilian championships in front of the Marina Park Hotel.

With good winds everyday a total of 10 races were completed with youngster Gabriel Browne taking the event win. At only 17 Gabriel is showing a lot of promise and with his older brother Marcillo leading the way with a PWA Freestyle title, clearly he is on the road to success.

In 2nd and 3rd were Paulo Reis and Willhelm Schurmann. Willhelm has long been the king of Brazilian racing so it will be interesting to see if he steps up in the Formula Worlds to get back on top.

The forumla worlds takes place over the next 6 days. All the top formula names are on site already, including current World Champ Ross Williams and theĀ  current number 1 ranked formula sailor Gonzalo Costa Hoevel, it shoudl be a god battle. Stay tuned to see who comes out on top.
