We announced not long ago that Tine Slabe would be sailing on new boards next year, with his new RRDs. But that is not going to be the only change for the Slovenian sailor for this 2009 season. The Freestyle and slalom sailor will be on new sails as well, on Challenger sails.
After several years sailing with Naish Sails, the challenge of developing sails together with Anders Bringdal made him change his path. Tine says “After Anders Bringdal developed a really good range of sails I decided to take the offer and try to promote the Challenger sails around the globe in the next years. This originally Italian brand is really motivated to establish a good slalom image in the future and this is a perfect combination, as I want to get to the top of PWA slalom in coming years. I believe that we will develop hand in hand to reach the very top!!! I cannot wait to try the sails out! “
We wish him good luck for the upcoming PWA season.
