Dreaming about great windsurfing holidays? Want to spend awesome time around pro sailors, get better in wave sailing, and enjoy great sightseeing and nite life? Or just run away from cold winter weather? After successful trip to Cape Town last Nov/Dec, and great sailing conditions , FUNSPORT Team has came up with idea of putting together a holiday, windsurfing clinic trip to South Africa. With support from Phil Horrocks, Ben Proffitt and other pro sailors we think it could be a great opportunity to spend time getting better on the water…
What could be better than finding hot sunny weather in UK’s winter season, with almost guaranteed sailing, and professional advice from top UK sailors? Nothing, ohh no… There is something! What if you add great atmosphere, cheap living, and luxury accommodation, and of course plenty stuff to do besides windsurfing.
Cape Town is one of the best locations for windsurfing in the world. Its constant conditions, sunny weather and great temperatures make it a great place to get your wave sailing skills to next level. South Africa is a recognised playground for many British sailors. On the water, around guys like Phil Horrocks, Ben Proffitt, Jamie Hanckock, Jem Hall and many others, not mentioning guys from other countries: Alex Mussolini, Jakub Kosmowski, Micahel Bucianis! And all there to help you…
This year Phil has been putting together a team of pro sailors that would help him to teach regular guys like us to improve. That gave us an idea of putting together a FUNSPORT trip to SA, with Phil doing coaching, and helping the TEAM to enjoy the holidays! With vast experience in training and great knowledge of Cape Town, Phil, or Ben will be your guru over there. They will pick the best places to sail, find the best accommodation, and let you fully enjoy your holiday time.
Cape Town is the trip of a lifetime both on and off the water and with Funsport we can make it happen together.
We are going back cos it’s great! Come on lets go!
