Ricardo Campello has decided that it is time for a change.
The 3 times PWA Freestyle World Campion (2003, 2004 and 2005) has just announced that he wont be doing any more PWA Freestyle events this season and that he is putting all his efforts into get in the top 3 in the Waves discipline.
Campello is considered by many the most talented sailor ever. Not only has he been the best freestyler on Earth for many years, but he has also proved his potential in waves in two of the best waves spots: Hookipa (5th on 2006) and Pozo Izquierdo (2nd 2008).
Together with this change of direction in his career, Ricardo is opening a new windsurfing centre in el Yaque in Venezuela. The centre will be stuffed with JP and Neilpryde gear, and with plenty of other options to have great time over there (snorkelling, cycling, wakeboarding, etc…) Yoli de Brendt, one of the top freestylers ladies in the PWA, will be the manager of the centre and she will be taking care of all the clients and giving some special tips.
The centre is still not opened but you can already start making your reservations for the upcoming months on firstname.lastname@example.org
Soon a website will be up as well at www.campello.com.ve and you will be able to check out all the toys Ricardo has set up for you to enjoy over there.
