Frenchman Cyril Moussilmani is doing a great job for new sponsor Starboard (and North Sails) and now leads the International Speed World Cup (ISWC) rankings after two events.

Yesterday we reported on him sailing boats, today he is ranked 2nd in the Windsurfing Speed World rankings ahead of Dunkerbeck…..yep, its Anders BringdalFull results here.

Its the Irish Windsurfing Festival this weekend in Malahide nr Dublin.  Beachtelegraph (who are based in Ireland), report that Oisin Van Gelderen will be doing a forward loop course and there will be instruction for all levels.  The Forecast looks promising, so why not go along?!

Its official! Raceboard is back!  The first UKWA event at Pitsford saw 102 entries and a doubled in size Raceboard fleet from last year.  This weekend is the second National event of the year at Weymouth and will be attended by Nik Baker (presenting the new Equipe) and Ken Black who will be doing a demo on rigging Raceboard sails and even give you some help with your own sail.  Sounds like fun, more info here!

In fact, its going to be a busy weekend, because if neither of the above are your thing, then there is no excuse not to join the Sunrise to Sunset event at Hayling.  Full info here.

That\’s it for today!  We are off to Ireland this weekend for the first UKWA wave event of the year, so we will be reporting from there next week.  It should be an interesting event with John Skye, Ben Proffitt, Phil Horrocks, Jamie Hancock and Andy King all facing some stiff competition from the younger sailors such as Graham Woods and Sam Neal.
