The head judge decoded to make an early start trying to make the most of the wind forecasted until noon. They started race number 5. Both heats 1 and 2 had false starts and the race committee was thinking about narrowing the fleet down to the final 16, with the elimination counting towards the overall event standings.
But the wind decided not to blow as predicted and only eight heats were complete and after that, the wind totally failed and the race committee decided to call it day later in the afternoon.
So Williams is still leading, and he was high chances of wining his first ever PWA Slalom event.
