News Headlines – Tue 2nd

Jona Ceballos informs us on his Blog about a new DVD he has been working on lately. The movie will be called “From Monday to Sunday” and it is being produced by Sofa-Movielab. The release of the movie is expected for October, but you never know with these kind of projects. We will keep and eye on it.

More media stuff. Now some great helicopter shots from the past Irish Slalom Series in Galway on the C7 site.

How many time has your sessions been ruined when you break your sail? Well, Boards has discovered a new product that could keep you going longer in the future. It is called Sailfix and with this kit you can easly repair your sail on the beach and keep enjoying the sailing.

And we have news from one of the most adventurous windsurfers, Fabrice Beaux. He has been for the third time in the Philippines and it just gets better and better for him over there. He was filming for a new travel/windsurfing movie and discovering some new young local talent. (Check out his report on the NeilPryde site here).

Over in Spain Victor Fernandez shows us some great new pictures from a spot in Almeria. If you saw these pictures published you could think is somewhere paradisiacal in the middle of the Pacific. But not, it is only a couple of hours of flying from the UK. Unfortunately, it doesn\’t work very often.

And another pro sailor reporting some awesome conditions in his home spot is Jaeger Stone, from Australia. Apparently he had “easily the best winter sail ever in Australia”.

Also from Australia, Scott McKercher, gives us his personal impressions of some of the hottest wave sailors this season: Victor, Kauli, Boujmaa, Koster and Pritchard.
