Two days ago the Starboard Pro Kids Freestyle Worlds started in Porto Pollo in Sardinia. This event is an extraordinaire opportunity for the future of the sport to show off their skills on the water. C7 has a report from the first two days of competition and here you have a little video to see that the future of the Freestyle is very bright.


Wind Magazine, printed windsurfing magazine from France, will have a DVD available with its latest issue, in which you will find the movie “Life”, produced by Club Ventos. They have put up a little teaser on their official site. (Google translated).

The IWA announces the next event in Poland, the Polish Formula Triple Crown. From the 23rd of July to 8th of August 2009 the Baltic shores of Poland will host 3 events offering a total of 60,000 euros prize money. These Formula Windsurfing World Ranking events will offer good fun for all the family, nice beautiful enviroment and high level action on the water from the best Formula sailors in the Wolrd.  It will start in Pobierowo with the Formula Windsurfing Euro Challenger (23rd-26th July). The second event will be in Leba, the Allegro Cup – Formula Grand Prix (9th July-2nd August). And lastly, in Sopot, the Formula Windsurfing European Championships (3rd-8th August) will finish off the trilogy.

Over in France the Orange Massilia Freestyle Cup starts today, an event organized by the Moussilmani brothers Sylvain and Benoit. This is now a huge event which brings together extreme sports like bmx, Kitesurfing, Windsurfing, Skateboarding, Freestyle motocross, together with music, graffiti and much more of the urban culture.
