The PWA Slalom event in Turkey finished without any changes in the lead, with Antoine Albeau and Valerie Ghibaudo taking the trophies home. The surprise of the competition came from the ladies fleet, where Sarah-Quita Offringa, Freestyle World Champion for second year in a row, manage to finish in an impressive second position. And in the IFCA event, Bernd Flessner and Maciek Rutkowski won the Slalom European Master and Youth Champion IFCA Title that took place in Germay.

Some good news for the Speed sailors. The European event in Ireland is now confirmed.

And bad news for the women wave fleet. Rumour has it that due to the economic crisis, the Sylt Organizers have lost some major sponsors and they might not have the Women Wave Competition this year over there. Tough times for the wave sailor girls.
