Day one of the BWA Mormaii Cornwall Classic and the conditions are already here.
The first day of the “Kernow return” has seen some punchy waves. Good SSE wind produced some playful down-the-line conditions. With registration at 9am sailors were at the beach and in competition mode by eleven. The sunny weather permitted a couple of hours of fun sailing and the first few rounds got underway.
The forecast for tomorrow is looking great; growing swell and southerly winds are set to produce a classic down-the-line day. The weekend is gearing up for something special; Saturday down-the-line and Sunday Marazion madness. Keep your eyes tuned in and get down here for a full power weekend!!
It\’s NOT too late to enter. Just turn up Saturday morning 9am at Sandsifters for the Amatuer and Masters (Over35) and Ladies fleets.
Go on, give competition a try – you\’ll love it!
