The earth quake in Chile has rocked the world and thankfully the Tsunami didn\’t hit too hard. Poor Robby Swift had a traumatic 24 hours. Firstly his newly completed house in Chile was hit pretty hard, with him inside. Then to cap it off, his other home in Maui had to be evacuated for the tsunami warning. Thankfully he is OK. Klaas Voget and Victor Fernadez were also in the area and by the sounds of things were pretty shaken up too. Check the report on translated Windsurf Journal and also if you speak german read more here.

The canaries continues to deliver conditions and Jochen from Tenerife sent us some shots of the guys ripping it up. Check them out on the left. Also check out the new boards under Dany\’s feet!

Also in the canaries, the Fuerte-Wave-classic starts tomorrow. Follow the action on the official website, plus our ace video guy Alfie Hart will be capturing the action, so we look forward to that as soon as they get conditions. The forecast for tomorrow looks like we could get action right from the start.

Sticking with WaveClassic\’s, today they announce the dates for the Morocco Wave Classic. Competition will run from May 10th-May 20th and more information can be found here.
