Today’s video brings us some action from Margarita, but for once we have a non-freestyle video from the island, with Dioni Guadagnino sharing some waves with the island surfers.

Open Ocean Media has just sent out the press release comfirming the first event of their “Wave Classic Invitational” project, the “Essaouira Wave Classic“. Organised or “initiated” by Boujmaa Guilloul, JB Caste and Thomas Traversa, there are already some other names comfirmed to join them, like Francisco Porcella, Camille Juban and Leo Ray. Maxime Houyvet will be the official photographer and Umi pictures will be in charge of capturing the video footage. The waiting period of this event will run from the 10th until the 20th of May. The final qualification regatta for the Youth Olympic Games is now starting in Civitavecchia, Italy. It will last until Saturday 10th, with over 70 competitors from 18 countries.
