News Headlines – Mon 2nd

The Podersdorf PWA Freestyle World Cup kicked off this weekend and there has been loads of action, despite almost no wind. Just 2 official heats were run, but they have had Jet Ski Freestyle contests and even Jet ski jump ramp contests. Steven Van Broekhoven won the freestyle, whilst Taty Frans took the jump ramp. Check out some of the action in todays video and if you want more check out Day 1 and Day 2.

Competition continues today and as always the PWA site brings you all the latest reports and news, including the LIVE EVENT TICKER.

Continent 7 have a specialised event page which includes the winning Culo by Steven Van Broekhoven, in literally zero wind! Plus a nasty looking crash from Taty on the jump ramp, that he somehow manages to not only land, but also look good!

And finally from Austria, Wind mag sit down with Kiri and Taty to find out the latest moves from Bonaire.

Getting away from Austria, congratulations Bryony on taking gold in Hyeres. Light winds meant the medal race was cancelled, but her huge 18 point lead would surely have been enough no matter. Even more impressive she held the yellow jersey from Day 1 through to the end. Read more here.

Lastly its been howling in Gran Canaria. Numerous reports from Pozo including a video from Jonas Ceballos, and great blog updates from Eleazar Alonso and Alesio Stillrich.
