Today\’s movie is the \’Super Final\’ of last weekend\’s Pistol River Wave Bash, as Kevin Pritchard successfully defends the double elimination against Francisco Goya.


But still, it\’s not over from Oregon yet. The Shadowbox Jump-Off took place on Sunday afternoon, but the final results remain a mystery until release the movie. Keep an eye on their Facebook page, as rumour has it it\’s between Goya and Timo Mullen for the top spot.

Back in Blighty, a stoked Stef Hilder from Southampton uni has been awarded the SWA GOYA Wave title having won the Exeter event and placed second in Cardiff. After his post-grad finishes in September Stef\’s off to train in Brazil – one to watch on next year\’s BWA Tour then.

This weekend East Riding of Yorkshire Council will be hosting UKWA racers for the 3rd event in their Cup series at Bridlington.

You\’ve got a little longer to wait for the Formula Worlds in Rio – 107 days, 15 hours and 30 minutes, apparently – but the mayor of Araruama City is already talking the event up.
