Today\’s movie is the last of the Pistol River instalments – the much anticipated / Shadowbox Jump-Off was finally released on Friday, and turns out our Timo did manage to out-jump Francisco Goya after all … but obviously hadn\’t counted on Tyson Poor back-looping 30.8 foot up to take the glory. The next big event is freestyle as the PWA hit the Canaries for the first leg at Las Chucharas in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote on Wednesday. Read Paskowski\’s predictions for the men\’s and women\’s fleet on the PWA site.

On the blogs, Nayra Alonso is on her way to Lanzarote having just picked up Laure Treboux fresh from her Rhodes Girls Camps. Meanwhile Ruben Petrisie was invited to Marseille to compete in the Orange Freestyle Cup with Sarah-Quita and the Moussilmani brothers, amongst others.

On the domestic front, Muzza is showing off his Zoolander look having just received his new summer suits from Spartan. Kent ripper Sam Conroy is the latest rider to sign to Boylo\’s. Sam Darkin in Worthing has finally had his cast removed so now just needs to strengthen up before getting back on the water. Hoping he\’s already back to full strength, Mikey Clancey has been testing his ankle at Brandon Bay over the weekend. And man of the moment Adam Sims is off for 6 weeks of training in Sotavento via a week at Pozo.

And finally, bad news as racing kites have beaten Formula windsurfers around a course at the CalCup in San Francisco Bay last week. Strongest windsurfer turned out to be Steve Sylvester, closely followed by a certain Xavier Ferlet, but they were both overhauled by the beshorted ones
