The first shipment of the new crop of RRD boards are due into the UK in just a couple of weeks\’ time, and the Italian brand are beginning to release product movies for each of their boards. The Clones, fresh back from testing on Tenerife, already have good things to say about them: look out for the full test later this year. Despite relatively lacklustre conditions for the PWA Waves last month, reports from Pozo are that they\’re enjoying a classic summer – the wind\’s not stopped blowing since June according to Dario Ojeda, while Pozo News focusses on the mere mortal \’common people\’ out holidaying on Gran Can.

Tatiana Howard\’s Butterfly Effect kicks off on the Dominican Republic today – registering is tonight at Onno\’s Bar Cabarete and the fun starts tomorrow. More at

You can\’t help but have noticed there\’s been a bit of breeze around the UK recently – and even some little waves. Windsurf Britain\’s Clyde Waite and Gregg Dunnett scored a pleasant surprise at Milfland on Sea yesterday, while Howard at Fisher Viking is revelling in a bit of wind down Daymer way on Devon\’s north coast. Would be nice to think they left the weekend warriors a bit too – see how your time off might go at
