The Reunion Wave Classic is entering its second day down in the Indian Ocean today, and the action\’s just starting at Etang Salé. Day one saw the crew visit 1-2m / 15-20-knot Etang Salé in the morning, and 2-3m / 20-30-knot Ravine Blanche in the afternoon. Stand-out sailors so far have been local Pierre Godet, young Camille Juban, Julien Taboulet, Francisco Porcella and Thomas Traversa. More at

It\’s been a while since we saw much Maui action, so today\’s movie comes from Franck Berthuot of Maui Watershoot. It\’s box-fresh too, as the Quatro / Goya guys joined Kevin and Matt Pritchard, Graham Ezzy and co to perform for Franck\’s lens at a fun-size Ho\’okipa on Tuesday. More at

As the winds tail off for the UK – just in time for a bank holiday weekend, that\’d be right! – we\’re hoping to see plenty more evidence of the action this next week or so. Formula racer Steve Bodner, USA-4, has posted a report on the inter-discipline Ronstan Bridge to Bridge race across San Francisco Bay. Skiffs, kites and Formula boards contested the 7-mile downwinder in 20-knot winds – but unfortunately for our collective pride, the sailor-boys ruled it while the lull towards the finish-line put paid to many a kiter and windsurfer\’s hopes and dreams… More at Steve\’s blog.
