PWA Cold Hawaii in Denmark looks set to see some action today – the riders are currently on hold waiting for the wind to fill in at Klitmoller, but it looks likely we should see some action any minute soon this afternoon. Keep an eye on progress at the PWA site and catch the full streaming footage at worldcup.coldhawaii.eu
Talking of blogs, Murray Saunders of ZeroGravity has now set one up so he can meet up with sailors and let them have a spin on some of the latest and greatest Goya and Quatro gear. He can be followed either by viewing his blog or signing up for the email alert when he makes a new post. Check it out.
Today\’s movie is a little bit different, but we think you\’ll like it as Cornish custom loft RB Sails show you how to make a wave sail. And don\’t they make it look easy?!?
Results are just coming out of last weekend\’s Poole Windfest – and first up we hear that Bubble is 2010 UKWA Freestyle Champion, followed by Max Rowe, Adam Sims and Sam Neal. Sam Ross is first amateur, followed by Kieran Roan. Alex Mitchell and Sam Conroy are first and second youths, with Oscar Carmichael and Charlie Jones taking the top junior spots. Great to see so much UK talent on show, and to have a result from the first windy Windfest in years! The only write-up we\’ve seen so far is on Max Rowe\’s blog…
And finally, Surfer Today have featured John Davis, a 91-year-old windsurfer who still regularly hits the waters of Clear Lake in the USA. Question is, is he the oldest out there? Somehow we doubt it – if you know of older, drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org
