Steve Thorp managed to tempt himself down to La Franqui, near Leucate in Southern France, for the weekend having been promised 5 miles of glorious speedstrip and 40-knot winds by the Dutch faithful. The wind delivered, but unfortunately recent storms have royally messed with the sandstrip so it\’s now much choppier than advertised.
