Well, we\’re now more than half way through PWA Cabo Verde with nowt but one heat decided so far. Nothing but a few false starts in the Angulo vs Voget heat 2 yesterday, and competition has already been abandoned today. Fingers crossed something happens over the weekend then – keep an eye on proceedings here.
And that means there\’s still no action movie to bring you – although Kurosh Kiani at caboverdeworldcup.com has posted this interview with Jason Polakow about the good old days!
…and this chat with Italian Hawaiian Francisco Porcella too.
So what do we have by way of action? Well, they\’ve had two days of racing at the 2010 IFCA Slalom Worlds in Flecheiras, Brazil. And Frenchman Julien Quentel has taken control of the men\’s fleet while countrywoman Alice Arutkin is comfortably in charge of the women\’s. And here\’s some footage from day 2.
Seems there\’s a new extreme sports brand on the block – SILTe have already launched a novel range of interchangeable silicon watches, there\’s more goodies to come, and they\’re even looking for riders to join Adam Sims, Josh Wilmot, Mike Archer and the Bentley brothers on their \’Dream Team\’ according to this press release. More at silte.co.uk
While out in Argentina, there\’s literally a new store on the block as what Neil Pryde describes as the best windsurfing and kitesurfing shop he’s ever seen has opened in Buenos Aires. Kauli Seadi was also on hand to open Hard Wind. More here and here.
And finally, how\’s this for graphics? Moo meets magic eye on a Custom Quad currently up for sale on their site. Check it out here.
