Today\’s big movie has to be this trailer of Dany Bruch (5th in PWA Waves 2010, and in fact fittingly on a Diethelm TrailerFin board) towing OUT at Siam Park on Tenerife. How cool is that?
The PWA have released their 2010 Nations Rankings – overall, France are on top, followed by Switzerland (not bad going for a tiny landlocked nation!), with the United Kingdom third ahead of Venezuala and the USA. Thing is, looking closely at the results, we\’re not sure they won\’t be revised. But hopefully the only error is a Ukranian flag where the Union Jack should be in Freestyle? Check out the full results here.
Dutch speed and slalom specialist Ben van der Steen has signed to Starboard for 2011 where he\’ll be championing the iSonic and iSonic Speed ranges on the PWA and IWSC world tours. More here.
Today\’s other big move is Guy Cribb, who\’s gone back to JP / Pryde – his press release starts: “I rode with the JP / NeilPryde team for a decade previously and I\’m stoked to be back with the world\’s leading brands…” Full story here.
Getting into the spirit of the season now, and west country super-snappers GuavaJelly have released their 2011 calendar of all-Cornish shots and all-UK sailors. £20+p&p. Fist come, first served on a limited edition. Check it out.
And finally, check out NeilPryde\’s festive vid of some speedy Père Noël (that\’ll be Father Christmas then!) action from Neway in La Rochelle. Joyeux Noël!
