Well, sorry to say we\’re starting a grey old week in the UK staring down the barrel of another f-f-f-freezing winter according to the Met Office long-range predictions. But let\’s not forget we\’ve had it pretty good so far this autumn – to which end we\’ll start today with a bit of action from just last week. And finally, in case you were wondering why Nick Dempsey isn\’t in Oz alongside the RS:X women it seems he\’s been over in Alicante, Spain, to see racing get underway at the Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012 instead. But the highlight of his weekend was meeting Laird Hamilton according to facebook.com – the legendary waterman marked the start of the global yachting marathon by diving off Puma\’s Mar Mostro as it left harbour, which was “easy to do” according to lairdhamilton.com!
