Let\’s fill out this Christmas – New Years gap then, with this weeks PWA Tips, all about pushloops. Not the hardest wave move, but perhaps one of the biggest steps in overcoming \’the fear\’. Check it out on pwaworldtour.com.
Meanwhile PWA World Tour rider, and 9th overall in the waves this year, Marcilio Browne has released this short clip of him just before Christmas on Fanatic/North gear. Just to help speculation about what brand he will be moving to, after he was missing from the 2012 Fanatic International Team press release. Whoever he will be riding for, will no doubt be happy after watching this; no handed goiters, double takas. The man is on a mission…
Starring in the recent production, Minds Wide Open, Marcilio will for sure be happy to hear that Andre Paskowski and his small production crew have been nominated for the X-DANCE Action Sports Film Festival Awards in the US. Up against 32 other films (including the epic – Art of Flight), you can understand Andre\’s delight at receiving the nomination, despite not being able to fly there himself due to health implications. Check out the full details over on continentseven.com, including a nice interview with Andre himself. Be sure to grab yourself a copy of this epic movie at mindswideopenmovie.com
If all this hasn\’t yet inspired you to go windsurfing, then most UK sailors who haven\’t been keeping an eye on the forecast, will be pleased to know that there is still an endless amount of wind on the charts, and the temperatures are truly mild for this time of the year. You can check more at bigsalty.com, or just take our word for it and head down to your local beach. Don\’t forget to grab the handkerchiefs on the way.
Whilst on the UK, it looks like the UKWA have released their event calendar for 2012. Check it out on ukwindsurfing.com. Whilst you are there, be sure to get your final votes in for UK Windsurfer of the year as voting closes in just a few days.
Another movie offering and this time featuring Tricktionary producer, Michael Rossmeier at Lake Garda.
