News Headline – Fri 3rd

Good morning everyone. We start today with a video sure to impress. With some amazing editing and a ridiculous level of freestyle from Jose \’Gollito\’ Estredo, Max Rowe and Andre Paskowski, Josh Willmot has produced this insane clip of the Fanatic/North riders in Brazil. It\’s great to see such a high quality edit and the action from Jericoacoara and Camocim is world-class…

We carry on now with a bit more action from the Blue Lagoon in Egypt. The spot was relatively unheard of as recently as a year ago but is certainly gaining notoriety with freestylers worldwide. Yesterday we showed you some action featuring two local sailors but today it is the turn of Estonia\’s Team Slowride with Tony Mottus and Sten showing their moves…

Windsurf legend and ex World Champion Matt Pritchard and Maui lady ripper Shawna Croppas are the driving forces behind Aloha Windsurfing Clinics. With their huge wealth of local knowledge and top-level experience the pair can cater their clinics to suit any level. If you think you might want to get some top coaching on the tropical island of Maui then head over to the AWC page as there are still places available for the clinic running in March.

An update now from the Crossing The Limits team. The producers of the movie series, which will showcase every event on the 2012 PWA World Tour will be holding their second live stream next week, allowing you to put any questions to the team you may have. Kicking off on Tuesday evening, make sure you tune in to the live stream. For more info or if you\’d like to support this brilliant project, head over to the website.

Our next video isn\’t windsurfing but it does go some way to make sailing a bit more exciting! Check out Alex Thomson, dressed up to the nines, doing \’The Keel Walk\’ aboard his 60ft yacht, the Hugo Boss.

If you\’ve been paying attention (or even if you\’ve not), you\’ll have seen the news about Danish racer Kurosh Kiani transferring to Fanatic boards earlier this week. Well, the speedy Dane has put up his thoughts about the transfer over on his website, a good read.

Also blogging away is Aussie slalom/formula sailor Sean O\’Brien. Competing at the Australian Formula Windsurfing Championships, Sean fills us on in on the racing from day one which was completed in ballistic winds. With two more days of heats to go and a great forecast, keep up to speed and check out the Day 1 report at the offical website.

We wrap up this update in suitably dramatic style – this video from Russian \’styler Dmitry Rasskazov is set to a rather grand soundtrack. Here is a bit more Dahab freestyle for you…

We\’ll see you later for the PM update.
