News Headlines – Tues 7th

Reports are coming in from all angles stating that Cape Town has been firing on all cylinders recently. This album from Sebastian Schöffel has some cool action from himself and Fabian Weber tearing it up. Thanks to for the spot. Also reporting is PWA wavesailor John Skye, who is in the midst of testing all the new RRD gear with Jem Hall; plenty of riding, jumping and flat water freeride conditions to go around. Freestyle world champion and all-round nice guy Steven van Broeckhoven is also out training in SA and has a nice report over on the JP website. It sounds like Steven is ripping, landing his first double forwards and double Culos as well as inventing the no-handed Culo! We wrap up this morning\’s update with news from Margaret River in Western Australia. A contest has been held there with some of the world\’s top-flight wavesailors scoring logo to mast high conditions. Victorious in the end was Dutchman Peter Volwater followed closely in second by Scott McKercher¬†who only just made it to the event! Read about his exploits here.
