News Headlines – Tues 14th

We open today with this moving and powerful edit from Daida Moreno. The female wave sailor, who is currently second in this years wave rankings, has had the hardest 12 months of her life as she was diagnosed with cancer towards the end of last year. Fighting cancer she also managed to organise and compete at the PWA Gran Canaria event. There is no doubting that she managed to pull off an outstanding PWA Pozo tour stop and become a truly inspirational figure to many. Watch on to find out more from Daida herself…

It\’s not really possible to top that video today but we still have some cool edits with great action for you. The first comes from Frans den Hartogh who threw this our way…

The second comes from the AWT who featured on the Hawaiian Extreme Sports channel with this cool bit of coverage from the stop in Santa Cruz, California…

In other news, the social-mediaosphere has been lighting up lately. There\’s plenty to go through as our top UK windsurfers have been making the most of the Summer season. The first update comes from John Skye as we join him for his first week in Moulay…

We also hear news from the multiple times UK Freestyle Champion Andy \’Bubble\’ Chambers who has had a great week coaching the Young Guns camp in Prasonisi. He also seems pretty stoked with his new k4 harness mount. If you are thinking about producing a video then be sure to pack one of these in with your gear next time you hit the beach. An awesome angle to see exactly where you may be going wrong. Plenty more here. Other riders are keeping busy, Max Rowe and Jamie Drummond are currently in Vass, soon to be joined by Adam Sims and a cool picture of Mr Ben Proffitt has been released over on his facebook from the 2013 Simmer photo shoot. The photo comes from Si Crowther, check it out over on the left.

We\’ve got more for you this afternoon so be sure to tune back in then, until then check out to find out where is going off near you..
