So we kick off Tuesday with news from PWA Sylt, where some Slalom highlights have made it to our screens. For those still feeling the buzz after a great year on not just the PWA tour but all the local, regional and national tours, you may just enjoy this and we hope it motivates you to hit the water whilst the European winds are favourable.
For the waveheads, there is these top moments from Sylt, including Alex Mussolini and his awesome wave 360!
Talking of waves, there are plenty of photo galleries coming out of Tiree at the moment. Unfortunately the event has so far been plauged by light winds, however official announcements show that a surf competition will take place today at 12, so all is not lost. For now enjoy these snaps and we\’ll do our best to bring you the next video installment this afternoon.
Shortly we will see the first Europeans flocking to Brazil for their annual pilgrammage to this windsurfing paradise. Although a large majority will head to Jaricoacoara, some will find similar but less crowded conditions in Icarai. Check out this update from Team Goya about a centre they have setup out there.
Our next video comes from Eilat, Israel. Actually it is from quite some time ago, but just check out the excitment on the beach as people run back and forth to get on the water.
News from the freestyle scene, Fanatic/North are onboard to demo at the first ever UK EFPT event, the Centaur King of the Wind. They join a host of other brands that will demo at the event, including Patrik/Sailloft, RRD/Ezzy, Starboard/Tushingham and Tabou/Gaastra. With registration now closed for the EFE organised EFPT stop in France, the UK organisers are urging all competitors to sign up and pre-enter by the 26th October on www.kingofthewind.co.uk, as well as anybody who is going and only needs a party ticket. There are only 150 tickets each night, don\’t wait and end up missing out.
Finally, we head over to Italy to join what many would describe as a classic Italian man, he loves to windsurf, eat pasta and search for the perfect women, introducing none other than Andrea Rosati.
