Park Style 2006..

Maybe it is the lack of waves, but the Austrians are introducing a new style of competition for 2006, that takes influence from Snowboarding and BMX parks.

The idea is that the riders make runs individually, down the course they have to hit sliders and other obstacles, pulling stunts off them, whilst also pulling off designated \’standard\’ freestyle stunts in designated areas.

Judges will decide on the winner by deciding on who had the best flow and style down the course. It sounds like a great idea and a new twist in Freestyle.

The Parkstyle contest is the final stage of the Austrian “Bump \’n\’ Jump” series and will crown the Austrian Champion – the winner also scores a starting spot at the 2007 Freestyle Worldcup in Podersdorf!
