Do it Texan Style

The North Texas Wind Riders (members of a Dallas area Windsurfing Club) are hosting 19th running of the Texas State Championships and Windsurfing Festival on May 19-20, 2007 at Lake Whitney, Texas.

This is one of the longest running windsurfing races in the state of Texas and has had up to 300 participants and 150 registrants. This race has a family component many races don’t have. Held a the beautiful campgrounds in McCown Valley Park, the Texas State Championships features windsurfing instruction, technique clinics, demo equipment, a Kids Camp and catered lunch and dinner. The event is held with the support of many key windsurfing industry suppliers and boasts many door prizes and an awards ceremony. For more information, go to the windriders website here.
