Have you ever been to Cabarate in the Dominican Republic and seen the local riders tearing it up in the waves or pulling insane freestyle moves. Even the young nippers are busting out all the tricks. Well if you have been over there you will see that they are all on a locally made kite brand which many of you will have also heard of called EH Kites.
Wet n Dry are importing the brand to the UK and the latest two kites are The Beast and The RippEHr. Both are bow kites so have all the characterisitics of a big wind range and huge depower, but one (The RippEHr) is designed for a high preformance allowing big hangtime for those windy days in the UK or it turns quickly for tucking into some nice waves. The RippEHr gets you going in as little as 15 knots. The Beast is designed to give you more power for bigger kite loops and improved performance for wake style freestyle. This kite will also get you going in light winds and also has a huge wind range but the turning speed is slightly slower the The RippEHr and as such makes it more managable to keep you kite in one place for freestyle!
Wet n Dry sponsor local rider Richard Findel who won a competition down at Gwithian in Cornwall 2 weeks back plus he entered the amateurs in the first round of the BKSA British Championships held at Watergate Bay, Cornwall. Unfortunately the wind didn\’t provide the goods and so next up for Richard will be BKSA Round 2 in Cumbria at the start of May.
If you would like to ride the EH kites or find out more about it then please contact Wet n Dry or visit their website www.wetndryboardsports.com.
