Pritchard back on top

After 2 days of the lead changing places, Kevin Pritchard finds himself back at the top of the pecking order with some fine wins. The 20 knot winds brought perfect slalom conditions and a big smile on everyones faces with the prospect of high speed action. No time was wasted as a 6 buoy downwind slalom course was set up. Pritchard now has an 8 point lead over Albeau in second, although a few more races will bring in the ever important discards so it is not all over just yet. Last years runner up, Micah Buzianis, lies in third place. Micah was flying around the course, but was admittedly not happy with his starts. Jimmy Diaz on the other hand was more than happy. Peter Volwater who had an amazing start to the event has now dropped a few places to 5th place.

Robby Swift, choosing to compete in slalom this year over freestyle because of a weak ankle is showing good form in his return to racing in 10th place. Absent from the competition are Ross Williams and Bjorn Dunkerbeck.
