PWA Costa Brava – Day 2

Micah Buzianis holds pole position at the PWA Slalom Grand Slam in Costa Brava. After the second day only two races have been held, one in the standard knock out elimination ladder format and the second with two larger fleets.

Buzianis consistant form with a 1st place and a 3rd sees him just holding off Albeau with two second places. In 3rd is Steve Allen, but 4th place after a poor start with an 11th place is Bjorn Dunkerbeck. Dunkerbeck who has never liked the lighter conditions fought back to gain a 1st place in the second place. Robbie Swift in his first season of PWA slalom showed some signs of his potential with a 10th place in the first race, one place ahead of the big man. He was unable to follow this up in the second round with an 18th position.

Also representing the UK is Ross Williams, Dan Ellis and surprise entrant Matt Pearch.
