You\’ve got to feel for the Pros on Thursday morning, rigging up for action at dusk in the chilly, Scottish air. No, we don\’t feel sorry for them either but we do hope the wind AND waves come together to bring us the competition we have all been waiting for. The swell is due to increase over night but the wind was due to ease off by late morning so an early start is called.
The Pros had a relaxing evening at An Talla Community Hall. After being fed smoked salmon and heaps of pasta, they cheered along the prize winners from the Team15 Inter Club contest who came to the hall to receive their prizes from their idols. Boardseeker Editor Louise Emery compered the evening and even though the kids looked like rabbits thrown infront of headlights up on stage, we think they enjoyed themselves as Mark Hosegood and Andy \’Bubble\’ Chambers escorted them around the hall to meet & greet the top Pros.
So it\’s fingers crossed for some proper competition on Thursday.
