The Breakdown – Tues 25th – Perfect 10’s, Championship battles and Pare on a charge…

We start the day with something that totally left our jaws hanging around our ankles. It might not be windsurfing but check this perfect 10 by CJ Hobgood during the WSL stop in Tahiti. Just insane.

Back to our own windsurfing world tour and if you missed it then Pierre Mortefon and Sarah-Quita Offringa took the top spots at PWA Alacati this last week. A shaky start for Sarah-Quita saw her fight back hard to convincingly win in the ladies fleet, meanwhile Mortefon was in a world of his own as he clocked bullet after bullet after bullet, only faltering once to to take a third place in one round. Sister to Pierre, Marion Mortefon also had one hell of an event to secure second overall and back in the mens fleet Malte Reuscher took his first ever podium with his own second overall. A full event re-cap and report can be found here.

From slalom champions to a youth wave champion, here is a super nice clip from Marc Paré who is totally lighting up the Canarian wave scene with his style and impressive moves. Just check out that perfect no handed backloop.

That’s it for today, however we do have a very nice feature on its way so be sure to head back later for more as we will be bringing back the Boardseeker Babes. Oh yes!
